This course gives participants an insight into the fitness industry, and it's a step in the right direction before studying more advanced fitness courses such as the Diploma of Fitness. Thanks to this qualification, students could land a job working as a Gym/Fitness Instructor in a gym or fitness centre. With the flexibility of this course, students could specialise in another area of gym work like health screening, client inductions and floor walking. This course requires the successful completion of 24 units of competency. This includes nine core, 10 stream, one specialisation and four elective units.

Applicants should have completed NSW Higher school Certificate or equivalent; or should be 21 years or over at course commencement. Also an IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent is required.

Students should complete the application form and attach it with documents like transcripts of relevant academic records (high school certificate or higher) and any additional documentation to support their application (e.g. resume, references and course credit application form). Authenticated documents must be: original documents (i.e. testamur and transcript of results) provided by the candidate to an authorised Think: Education Group representative, copies of the original documents (i.e. testamur and transcript of results) provided by the candidate which have been either: notarised by a Justice of the Peace or equivalent authority in the country of origin or verified as a true and correct copy of the original documents by an approved Think: Education Group representative.
