The experience is always daunting at first. But I have realized there are other students who are nervous as me. I have met really nice people from different backgrounds and cultures which fascinates me. And I enjoy my course very much. Apart from the personal experiences, there were lot of practical based study rather than the theory based work which made me enthusiastic to learn even more.

Well, to get into a good institution you need good grades. And language is very important especially if the first language is not English. Most of the help I needed, the institution provided it. The visa process was quite painful. I had to go through medical check etc. However, the travel experience was really exciting, obviously it was my first time in Australia. I guess my tips would be, being able to learn English fluently.

The best thing about the course is its practical based. I had to spend about 6-7 hours a week for lectures. Lecturers and tutors are always helpful, it should be obvious as they are available to only help us. I definitely think the course was worth the value of money. Academic advice would be not to be scared to put your thoughts/opinions ahead.

If my computer broke down, I could rely on the facilities provided by the campus easily or go to the cyber for access of information as well. There is the study-time but if you really feel like getting out or taking some time off, there are always shopping malls, regular bus services, cinemas, bars to cheer the mood up. Accommodation is fairly reasonable, I would save about 160-190 a week. I have not joined any clubs. But sometime they put out hot dog stalls, games for everyone to enjoy. And there is definitely club for international students.

There is definitely a placement cell. Completing the first year has given me qualification to work where my career is headed towards. And, I will definitely be keeping in touch with my friends as I would not have made this far without them. I am working as well as studying and managing time for other activities as well. Manage time and schedules. What you learn at university slowly starts becoming the habit I guess.
