I am surviving the lectures, the assignments, the early morning classes that i have to go through. Weekends and holidays are fun, uni means study. And if you like or love study then it will be fun, otherwise you will be surviving like me waiting for uni life to get over. There are clubs n groups to refresh you but it doesnt work.

i applied through vtac, got an offer letter stating the date and time to enrol and pay the fees, i did the needful. It was busy when i was enrolling cos i was late so didnt receive much support and was completely lost then but now i have figured out my way around uni.

You have to fill in an application and qualify to receive one. I am paying full fees which are relatively not very expensive.

I am studying advance diploma of hospitality which is different from the normal diploma of hospitality. In my course, we are taught the basics of supervising and rostering etc and not much cooking. I have to study around 20-35 hours per week. Its not interesting but rewarding the future, so i reckon i can live with it for just another year now.

We have library, labs, wireless internet and so on. We have Swinburne Student Amenities Association (SSAA), they provide advocacy as well when students are in a fix or in trouble. We can even register or create a new club or join an existing one. I have not created any nor joined any.

We have job placement office, which assists us in finding jobs, and once i complete my course i will using their services and yes i will join alumni association.
